Through the Family and Faith program, parents – as the first educators of their children – are invited into a deeper and more intimate relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.

Family Educator
The role of the family educator is to connect parish, school and home in faith and learning to create a vibrant partnership. The following opportunities support this partnership:

Class Prayer Boxes
Boxes are made for the students to take home and share with their families, ensuring each family has an experience of a sacred space and family prayer time in their homes.

Masses
Parents are warmly invited to attend grade Masses and come together to share morning tea afterwards.

Playtime Group
Playtime group is an opportunity for preschool aged children and parents to socialise and become familiar with the school and faith setting.

Communication
Reflections on the scriptures, faith and life, along with parish news and events, is included in the school newsletter.

Pastoral Care
Support for families dealing with grief, hardship or challenge. Social justice initiatives to engage students and families in supporting those in need.

The charisms of our founders continue to be central to the values of our college today. The commitment to finding Christ in every person allows us to focus on the positives that abound in every student who attends the college, so we can work towards a cohesive and understanding community of learners. Many opportunities exist for involvement in the faith life of the school through prayer and Liturgy, and the call to action is answered with various opportunities to ‘give back’ through the Family and Faith program.
